Stansted Airport Consultation
London Stansted Airport is consulting on its plans to fully use its existing runway and to expand passenger numbers through a more efficient use of its infrastructure.  The consultation documents are available online along with a link to an online survey where there is also an opportunity to highlight any issues you feel London Stansted Airport should consider, for example which new routes should be introduced.

Superfast Essex Consultation – DEADLINE FOR RESPONSES 31st AUGUST 2017
Residents and businesses are being asked to tell Essex County Council whether they can access superfast broadband at their address to help inform future broadband investment plans. The Superfast Essex Public Consultation 2017 is being run by the Superfast Essex broadband programme until midnight on Thursday 31st August 2017to reassess which areas will not have access to superfast broadband speeds after all existing plans are completed. The aim is to identify which areas should be eligible for future investment.

Members of the public and businesses are encouraged to view the Superfast Essex interactive State Aid map on the programme’s website at www.superfastessex.org/whatshappeningnext>  to check the broadband status for their address and respond to the consultation via a link on the same page to tell us if the status shown is incorrect.

FREE cyber security UK Roadshow– Colchester united football stadium - 27th September
Last year, the Federation of Small Business found that 66% of small businesses had been a victim of cyber-crime at a cost around £3,000 each. The National Police Chief’s Council and City of London Police are working with METSI Technologies to coordinate a series of Cyber Road shows throughout the UK. These events are aimed at improving your awareness of current cyber threats and enhancing your ability to protect and respond to them; and will contain interactive sessions and a variety of workshops on key issues affecting your particular industry.
