Wethersfield Fun Day 2014
This year's Fun Day will be held on Sunday 6th July on Wethersfield Playing Field starting at 2pm.
As always there will be plenty to see and do on the day...
There will be live music courtesey of the band 'Recovery' and Danny Newton to keep things going throughout the afternoon. Something for the youngsters in the form of Children's races, Bouncy Castle and Assault Course and many of the perennial favourites including the Human Fruit Machine, Coconut Shy, Crockery Smash, Bed of Nails and the Tombola.
Special for this year in recognition of the Tour de France's imminent visit to Wethersfield we will have Crazy Bikes, a Penny Farthing Display and in the Pavilion, an illustrated talk (some rare archive footage of Tours gone by) by local resident and professional cycling expert Roger St Pierre.
And if you're feeling lucky (and you've bought your numbered programme), we will of course have our Grand Raffle.
For those who simply want to relax there will be food and drink in the form of tea and cakes in the Pavilion, hot food from our BBQ outside and a choice of beers/lager/cider and soft drinks from the licensed bar - not forgetting of course the Ice Cream.
All we need now is for the sun to shine! Hope to see you all there,
