Braintree District Volunteer Awards 2019

Here’s a great way to thank volunteers in the community that help to make where we live a better place.  It might be by helping to run the village hall, at the church, picking up litter or just being a good neighbour to everyone.

Braintree District Volunteer Awards 2019

It’s not too late to get your nominations in for the Braintree District Volunteer Awards.

Deadline for nominations 2 May 2019

Braintree District Council and Community360 are working together for the 3rd year to recognise the vital role that volunteers play within our communities. We want to celebrate those who have made an outstanding contribution to the work of voluntary and community organisations across the district through a series of awards acknowledging their exceptional efforts.

Below is a link to a poster giving details of how the unsung heros, both young people and adults, who give their time as volunteers in our communities can be nominated for one of these awards. May we ask you to display this on a noticeboard or in a prominent place where people can see it? Also enclosed are nomination forms which anyone can use to nominate deserving individuals or groups of volunteers. Nominations can also be done online at www.braintree.gov.uk/volunteerawards
