I am writing to make you aware that the Finchingfield Bridge webpage has been updated to reflect that the onsite investigations, which required a five day closure of the bridge, have been completed and the bridge has reopened.
Work will now take place to use the data to progress a new scheme design and to evaluate the effectiveness of the measures put into place to support the five day road closure.

Many elderly and disabled people enjoy reading, but are unable to physically get to the Library
Braintree Library offers a free service, whereby, volunteers visit people in their own homes and take a selection of material for them to borrow every 3-4 weeks,
