Request from Finchingfield Parish Council to those using the bottle bank

Message from the Clerk at Finchingfield Parish Council:

“We are experiencing an increasing number of people simply leaving their bottles on the ground surrounding the bottle banks in Finchingfield.

I am placing a notice in our parish magazine urging people to place their bottles in the actual bank and not simply leave them on the ground surrounding the bank, I am assured by those reporting this that the banks do indeed have plenty of room in them to accept more bottles, our street cleaner regularly visits the area and puts the bottles into the bank.

Could I request you do likewise and urge your residents visiting the banks in Finchingfield to please ensure they place their bottles in the banks. Obviously I have no way of knowing whom the culprits are or indeed whether when they visit the banks they find them full”.
